Next, you’ll need to knead the dough. The easiest way to do this is by hand or with an electric mixer with a hook. It will take between 5 and 10 minutes for the machine to do this job.
The finished product is a sticky dough supple enough to break apart.
Oil a bowl before transferring the dough to it. Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it sit for about 1 hour. Once it doubles in size, you can proceed to step 4 of this doughnuts recipe.
